Bueno, if you know me you may or may not realize how shy and absolutely NOT extroverted I really am. In Spain, I made a pact with myself to see and experience all that I can. So far this has proven to be a great way to live life. So, rather than happily sitting on my bed and reading, I called up a friend and found myself having a great time instead! I went out en la tarde (the “afternoon”, which is really from after siesta around 5 to before dinner, around 9:30) with these lovely ladies in my program and went shopping, walked around the city, and went to an ADORABLE cafe and had a magical beverage.
Seize the day, right?
The thing is, I don’t have to leap outside of my comfort zone every single day. In fact, my comfort zone is quite small. So doing something like calling up a new friend is just enough to try something new, drink in more of beautiful Sevilla, and do something fun that I wouldn’t normally do.
“Magical beverage” consisting of pineapple juice, strawberries, and dulce de leche ice cream. 🙂
